Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was quite underwhelming. While the rooms had potential with their four-poster beds, they were overall quite tired and needed maintenance. The service was lackluster, especially during our dining experiences, and there were several issues that made my visit disappointing. The hotel might have a great location, but I can't say much else in its favor.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the spa facilities are a definite highlight, but the room was in need of some updates and the dining experience left a lot to be desired. The staff were friendly throughout my stay, but there were several issues that made it less enjoyable overall.
My experience at the hotel was quite frustrating. While the staff tried their best to address our concerns, the overall state of cleanliness and maintenance was disappointing. The dining options were inconsistent and not up to par, and the spa facilities were underwhelming. The location had potential, but it didn't make up for the issues we encountered during our stay.
We had a lovely stay overall, especially considering the value for money at just £100 for a midweek break. The room was ample and warm, but definitely in need of some modern upgrades. The dinner was fantastic, and our granddaughter adored the pool. However, some areas could use a refresh, particularly the changing rooms and general furnishings.
The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and a beautiful restaurant, but our check-in experience was quite unpleasant. While our room was spacious and came with a complimentary bottle of prosecco, the service at the front desk overshadowed the positives. The food and drink experience also lacked timely service, leaving us disappointed during our stay.
